Cookie policy

No cookie is set on this site unless you allow it first.

The default state

Arriving here sets nothing. The pages are static files; they need no session, no identifier and no preference storage to render. The consent panel appears precisely because the default is off, and stays off if you ignore it.

What you can switch on

Strictly necessary

Serving the pages and remembering your consent choice. The choice itself is kept in local storage under tl-consent-v1, not in a cookie, and is never transmitted. This category cannot be switched off, because without it the panel would ask again on every page.

Measurement

Google Analytics, loaded only if you allow it. It sets cookies in the _ga family, typically retained for up to two years, and is used to see which guides are read and how people arrive. Google acts as a processor and may transfer data outside your country.

Advertising

Google Ads conversion measurement, loaded only if you allow it. It sets cookies in the _gcl family, typically retained for up to ninety days, and exists to confirm that an ad click reached the page it was supposed to reach.

How this is enforced

Consent is not decorative here. Google Consent Mode is initialised with every advertising and analytics signal set to denied before anything else runs, and the tags are only requested once a choice grants them. Rejecting means the scripts are never fetched at all, not merely fetched and ignored.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie choices link in the footer of any page. It reopens the panel with your current settings, and saving replaces the old record immediately. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain has the same effect and returns everything to the default off state.

Browser-level controls

Every major browser can block or delete cookies for a specific site, and most offer a strict tracking-prevention mode. Those settings sit above anything this site does, and using them will not break these pages — nothing here depends on a cookie to work.
